funny or cute?

hihi.

actually i'm not in the mood to blog so.... let's make it a short one.

had an ultra brunch yesterday at both pastamania and DTF. sorry, didn't manage to snap some pictures except for one cute incident that happened.

actually the story goes like this.

My friend place an order of a six piece of xlbs, and immediately the moment the staff served up our freshly steamed xlbs, we(including the staff) found out that one of the xlb burst.

anyway, i heard the staff telling us that it burst but my friend didn't heard that so i told her, and though that pathetic one burst, there's still juicy xlb soup thingy lingering inside that thin layer of flour so we didn't expect them to hold the responsibility(anyway, it's really stupid to geigao with one pathetic xlb with them right, it's all the same down into the tummy-.-).

however the moment we finished all of our orders, that particular staff came up to us with the steam tray and the above picture is what we saw. immediately, we burst into laughter.

Well, indeed they are efficient enough to know that it's their fault so they compensate us with that ONE little xlb but, i still find it a little funny. maybe is due to that one xlb in the steam tray, which makes it look so lonely and cute? okay, enough of that.

so the rest of the day was spent in mahjong-ing with the girls. Also with the extreme gossiping and crappy talking seriously made my day. ohhh, to think of that makes my hand feel the itch.

and i just get to know some secret recipe. and i went hunting for it today. can't believe that i plunge a bomb in my pocket just by today.

Can't be help, it's a once a month thingy.

Shopped around in CS. we intended to catch a show initially.

And there's something that i want to rant about. Seriously, the weather in there is ultimately crazy! It's like, the moment you step in to M, you'll have this 'open-air-sauna' like feeling! I'd wonder why there's so much difference in the weather temperature between SG and M! I bet i'll go crazy if i was to stay there forever.

hopped into this ultra warm cab and to KSL(new shopping mall!).

Both of us were feeling so full after the a.m. breakfast that we had earlier on. Walked, shopped. Bought some stuffs and finally, i get to feel a little empty space from my stomach(that's so finally!).

Settled down at Wong Kok Char Chan Teng (Kwok Chun On is the ambassador of this cafe!).

The HK-style 'si-wa' milk tea taste fabulous! Ought to give it a try!

And this is a normal soupy noodle bowl that i've order. Doesn't seem appealing but taste nice.

That's bieee's order. heard from her commenting that this taste nice as well. Shall give it a try the very next time round.

KSL's super big! Probably due to it's new, and not all shops are open. Plus this place have EXPO( their so-called Convention Centre) too! Bet it gonna be a big place! Just the same as Suntec.

After that, we walked over to HP to do our nails. walking from shop to shop to compare(i think all the nails shop are somewhat linked to each other). Finally settle down at one of the shop (i forgot the shop name). Both of us decided on doing classic pedicure. the staffs were nice, and the girl who did bieee's pedi is very nice! She chats with us and really did a great job in handling her foot, unlike the girl that services me, totally lose out. She did not do a proper job for me, so unskilled!

Didn't snap a shot of the outcome as i'm too embarrass to show my nails out(looks fugly). My main purpose for pedicure is to get all the dead skins out under my foot. Though it wasn't a pleasant treatment that i've experience, however, i'll definitely go back to HP(not referring to this particular nail shop as the staff that served me seriously disappointed me) for another pedicure session!

new start, new beginning.

it's a random feel to be back on blogging again. most probably reading at others' daily blog logs spouse me to do that so. okay, random fact much.
